Project part 1

I blogged last saturday about a wonderful site of Bella McBride which inspired me for special lessons.

Today we had the first lesson.

The group consisted of all girls and one boy.
He was added to the group at the last moment, so I had no chance to change plans.

So I just decided to go ahead and have a look at the site and etsy shop.

The girls decided to make a bag, and the boy hesitated. He wanted to make a bag for his mom, but he also liked the mushrooms of velted wool.
He took quite long to make up his mind, but then suddenly one of the girls said she wanted to make a bag and put a velted mushroom on it.

So all kids start with a basic pattern and end up with completely different bags, because they have a free choice of colour.

It's such fun!!

Yoga online

A few years ago I followed a course of yoga.
But even though I liked it very much, I couldn't continue the lessons, because they were at a time I was needed elsewhere.

Todat I had some time between two children and decided to look around online a bit.
There I found betwene the missed TV programs a series of yoga lessons.

They were good.
Even though I was not physically participating, I relaxed and when it was time to go back to work I felt refreshed.

Ballet or fitness

I remember the moment when my balletteacher asked another pupil if she was fitnessing.
The girl was amazed that the teacher knew, but when she asked "why" the teacher said: it's your shoulders.

I've never had much interest in fitness, even though we have a large fitness studio/hall at uni.
The pain in my shoulders and neck after working out made me go to the doc who told me to stay away, unless it was done under individual guidance by a physiotherapist.
My shoulders are a bit bended and fitness puts too much of a burden on it, whereas ballet and the attention for a straight back and lift overs of the head, firms the muscles I need more.

I don't often go to ballet anymore.
During the past year and this year I had so much to do and so little money to spend.

Do you like those broad male shoulders for a woman?
I don't.

won another footballgame

We've won again at the european football contest.
It's unbelievable!
This time against Roemenia.

Many people had concerns about the exchange of 9 wellknown players against others of the team.
They said they didn't have enought contest experience.

Well, they have now.

Even about the lawn no word has been said anymore.
It was soaked last week, and a dutch firm got an emergency order.
A new lawn was created from a thick layer of grass.

Well, it all worked perfect!

a lot to do

Had a busy day today.
Studied a lot this afternoon.

One of my friend took notes this morning, so I didn't miss anything.
Thanks to email I got it on the table without a problem.

I've again tried to get the errormessage from my site.

Took izearanks off.
Which meant less problems, but still an error message.

Just before my rather quiet dinner with tomatosoup, lettuce and potatoes, I was called and ask to come to a birthdayparty.

I'd completely forgotten to buy a present, so I took some different kinds of fabric I had, sewed them together and made a kind of totebag of it.
Turned out so nice that I took smaller strips and made them into a sjawl.

It was a huge success.

Theme of the evening was the way Clinton deals with the elections.

We're all waiting for her to step back.

She has shown that she won't be a good president, because she's not able to put the wellbeing of the party and the country before her own ambition.

Well, we'll see what happens.

Grand Theft Auto 4 is ready for you

I was wondering about the wereabouts of friends, so I jumped on my bycicle, and paid them a visit.

They were not to happy to see me, because they were heavily involved in playing....
Grand Theft Auto 4.

I knew they were expecting this game, but I didn't know it had arrived.

They asked me to have a guess when they started to play it.
At Queensday?

Yes!
One of them even spend the night in front of the shop to be the first to get one of the games.

Grand Theft Auto IV is developed for Xbox 360® and PLAYSTATION®3.
Most people here call it either GTA IV or GTA 4.
It's a game that shouldn't be played by people who transfer gaming aggression into real life aggression.

Even though this Rockstar Game is the eleventh in a row of Grand Theft games, it's different.
One can see that the technical advancements are put to full use in this game.
A new engine is used: RAGE, meaning: Rockstar Advanced Gaming Engine.

I saw the whole group playing it together, which was fun.
They enjoyed themselves a lot. But even better: I enjoyed myself looking at them and the game.

It seems to be a lot more realistic. The graphics are more detailed, refined.
I'm sure that is the reason why they are glued to the screen.

Will I be loosing my friends and studymates?
I doubt it.

They told me that the game can be played with multiple players but also by one player.
So they adviced me to practice well and come back when I'm ready.

I've spend some time playing and I feel like I've entered a complete different world.

I love it!!
